On May 12th, 2008, an earthquake of devastating magnitude hit Wenchuan in Sichuan Province, leaving thousands of people homeless and many precious lives, especially those of young students and teachers, lost. In the wake of this tragedy, many lost their beautiful homes and schools, facing a challenging road to recovery.

In line with the Chinese tradition of "One party in distress, help from all sides," our school has decided to organize a charity performance to raise funds for the victims of this earthquake. The event is scheduled for May 12th, 2009, on our school stage.

The purpose of this performance is to raise awareness and funds for the reconstruction efforts in Wenchuan. We aim to help the affected community rebuild their homes and schools, enabling those who have suffered so much to lead a strong and happy life.
